You can now get up to 4 TB of iCloud storage

With current iCloud plans, the maximum is 2 TB. Even though that’s a lot of storage, some iPhone users have filled theirs with thousands of 4K photos and videos, etc. Until today, those people were simply stuck in capacity – but with the release of Apple One, it is now possible to get up to 4 TB of total iCloud storage.

Each Apple One plan includes some iCloud storage; Apple One Individual plan includes 50 GB, Apple One Family plan includes 200 GB and Apple One Premier plan includes 2 TB.

These storage quotas are independent of your regular iCloud plan. So you can sign up for any Apple One class and then add 50 GB, 200 GB, or 2 TB on top through the regular iCloud layer. The prices of iCloud plans don̵

7;t change if you have an Apple One. Again, Apple currently charges $ 0.99 a month for 50 GB, $ 2.99 a month for 200 GB, and $ 9.99 a month for 2 TB.

In general, the new limit for iCloud storage on a single Apple ID is 4 TB. That will cost you $ 39.98 per month – $ 29.99 for the Apple One Premier and $ 9.99 for the 2 TB plan. For that price, you’ll get your iCloud in addition to Apple Music Family, Apple Arcade, Apple TV +, Apple News +, and Apple Fitness +.

(Of course, customers who aren’t interested in Apple content services and just want more storage space will be disappointed because they can’t buy more storage without paying for all the Apple One Premier in the past. this process).

I just upgraded to Apple One and it says I have 4 TB of memory. Why?

Your existing Apple One storage and iCloud plan are handled separately. So if you upgrade to Apple One, you need to be sure to cancel your current iCloud plan if you don’t want to. Check how much space you have in Settings -> Apple ID -> iCloud.

To cancel your iCloud storage plan and rely on Apple One only, tap Storage Management -> Change storage plan -> Downgrade options and select ‘None’. This will prevent your iCloud plan from renewing and your storage will stop working on that day.
