He pleaded guilty to two counts of disorder and family abuse and was sentenced to two years of probation.

Blake was shot several times during a conflict with the police in August in Kenosha, leaving him paralyzed.

Charges prior to and unrelated to the shooting.

A video clip of the incident shows a policeman shooting Blake as he tries to enter the driver̵

7;s side door of an SUV. His three children – 3, 5 and 8 – were in the car at the time.

Protests against police brutality and systemic racism erupted after the video went viral on social media. Blake was black and the policeman shot him white.

Attorney Patrick Cafferty said last month, the 29-year-old man was staying at a spinal injury recovery center in Chicago.

CNN has contacted Blake’s attorney for comment.
