WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Production of US factories rose more than expected in July, driven by an increase in production of motor vehicles.
Manufacturing output rose 3.4 percent last month after rising 7.4 percent in June, the Federal Reserve said Friday. Economists polled by Reuters had forecast a 3.0% increase in production output in July.
