Big Brother 22 kicked off on Sunday night when two of the All-Stars delivered their own fates and competed in the first Safety Suite competition of the season. And that was a good thing they did, because they were really in danger.
Sunday night’s episode was chosen shortly after Cody had won the first Homeowners’ competition. The All-Stars stars don’t raise their traditional champagne glasses, but they’ve been involved in the tradition of calibrating each other, even though they already know each other, or at least know each other (most of them).
Janelle told us that Kaysar is still someone she can trust and will likely work with. Nicole F wants to thank Da’Vonne for voting her victory (which seems a bit late for a thank you). She told her she wanted to make up for her and help her win this season… Wait, what?
Da’Vonne tells us that no matter what Nicole says, she doesn’t trust her after things go down in Big Brother 18.
Speaking of Nicole, it’s time for her to let us know that she and Cody are ready to drive each other or die this season. Both of them act like that which they just decided, but if you pay attention to any social media, you will know that there are a lot of games before playing the game and Cody and Nicole are in the game. The player was in an alliance.
Nicole tells Cody to ally with a guy and she will ally with a girl, and she will tell him everything. Lots of Big Brother 16 and Big Brother 18 again. Gotcha, Nicole.
Cody told Nicole that his initial nomination was to bring Keesha and Kaysar. Nicole says Keesha is a good person and not a threat, which causes Cody to throw Janelle’s name out of there. And Nicole is happy because that’s what she really wants.
Time to learn the contents of the Safety Suite twist. Cody walks out of the Diary Room with some VIP cards and an explanation. He told All-Stars that within the limited time the room would open and they could choose to play or not. And they can only do it once in the next three weeks. The winner of the contest is given a plus point for safety. Whoever plays and loses will be punished.
So now everyone has to decide whether they will enter this week’s contest or wait. So who will play? Let’s find out.
Kaysar decided to talk to Cody to see if he should play. Kaysar tells Cody that he and Janelle played together 15 years ago but that doesn’t mean it’s going to happen again. Kaysar really wants Cody to show interest in working with him or at least signal that he’s not in trouble. Cody couldn’t give Kaysar any kind of smart responses, so Kaysar knew he could be in trouble.
Janelle also feels Cody is out, and like Kaysar, she’s much smarter than Cody and can tell right away that she’s at risk.
So needless to say, only Kaysar and Janelle decided to play. Kaysar up first. And the Safety Suite room is so beautiful and large that I can barely notice the rules of the game. It is basically an audio memory game. Kaysar had a difficult but ultimately successful start. Janelle is next. At first she was also having trouble. So who has a better time in the end? Let’s see.
Safety kit results
Kaysar won safety for the week! And he chose Janelle as his plus. That means Cody will have to rethink his nominations. Oh, that also means Janelle will be fined for losing the competition.
Cody and Nicole meet to discuss Plan B. Cody thinks he can go with Kevin because they haven’t connected yet and Keesha because he can’t see himself working with her in the game.
Before we get to the nominations, it’s time to see Janelle’s punitive outfit. And that’s the All-Star mascot costume. She has to literally wear a star, and it lights up and everything. It should be noted that this is the first time in four seasons that Janelle has received a penalty.
Worried about nominations, Kevin decided to talk to Cody, and he choked out that talking to such people was so difficult for him, he said. He reminded Cody that he was included in BB11 because of his clumsiness (he’s in the outcasts group). So it looks like he might have been dragging Cody’s heartbeat? Let’s find out if it works.
Is not. Kevin’s heartbreaking conversation was of no use. Cody nominated Kevin and Keesha to fire.
