Recent reports that Devin Booker wants to get rid of Phoenix ̵1; and that’s the worst kept secret in the tournament – has led to clear speculation about his future. If the Suns make a big decision about the Booker deal, few teams can come up with an enticing package like the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are looking to appease the Karl-Anthony Towns.
Booker is, of course, close to both Towns and D’Angelo Russell. The trio have talked about wanting to one day wear the same NBA jersey, as they did at AAU.
If the Booker was available, the Suns would likely have to sift through offers from dozens of teams. Bookers are the kind of talent any team should strive for. But Minnesota’s luck stems from the fact that they won the lottery, with the final # 1 pick.
It would give Phoenix the basis to make a profit from the Booker, though Minnesota would of course include more assets.
Let’s take a look at the deal that brought Booker to Minnesota to pair with Karl-Anthony Towns and start NBA Draft.
