Neither the Sixers nor the Clippers achieve their goals by 2020, and it has led to speculation that each team could change their respective staffing for the 2020-21season.
The Clippers have been faced with questions about George since he declared 2020 neither a championship nor a bankrupt season. As for Philadelphia, the Simmons and Joel Embiid duo failed again, and the remaining 76ers were searching for answers.
Philadelphia hired Daryl Morey after his resignation in Houston, which equates to a new era for the Sixers. Morey’s tenure in Houston was of course marked by the franchise change that brought James Harden to Houston.
