The states ranked by COVID-19 rate positive in the test: November 9

Below are the percentage of positive COVID-19 tests in each state, along with the number of most recently reported cases and the number of tests done per 1,000 people.

The data points were last updated on Nov. 9. The data for positive rates and the tests are seven-day moving averages. New cases are calculated daily as reported by the state and the District of Columbia. Information cited is from Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center. The states are sorted in descending order of their trial positive rates.

Editor’s note: On October 23, Johns Hopkins noted that their test data provider, the Covid Tracking Project, is changing the way it maps data of states. Changes that mean the type of data used in the denominator (total number of trials) may now include trials that were previously not included in the calculation, which could lead to a positive calculation of the try lower than the calculated value before the change.

“With this significant change, we will again review our input and calculations to ensure that our numbers reflect the most responsible public health computation. positive of the test, “according to the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center.
