The Haunting of Verdansk event, which brings Zombie Royale challenges and scavenger hunts, ends on November 3 at 1PM EST (6PM GMT).
There’s not much time left to find all the loot crates scattered around Verdansk, so this guide will get you all the loot as quickly as possible. The player must visit certain locations around the map and keep opening the crate until the event loot container is found. When opening the map, there is a helpful checklist that tells you where you must go to find loot.
As the event was about to end and players were searching for their last crates, certain areas of the map became more congested than others. Dam and the Superstore seem to be the busiest areas due to the small number of box houses in the area.
BR Solos is the mode to get this done, as teams plunder areas a lot faster.
If you have yet to make much progress in the challenges, the best thing you should do is choose an unobserved position furthest from the plane’s flight path. Fly there, since you shouldn’t have as many people with you, steal as many chests as possible, and rob areas as you enter the area.
This should work fine for larger areas like Lumberyard, Port, Quarry and Boneyard. The city center, airport, TV station and military base are large enough for you to find your own area to loot.
It should also be noted that ‘Train’ means train, Not the train station.
The Superstore is one of the busiest in Verdansk due to its central location and the amount of loot on the ground. There are very few chests in the Superstore, as it’s more of a ‘get weapons and fight’ area. This makes finding the chest containing the loot extremely difficult.
What you should do is land in the office block on the west side of the Superstore. There’s a window in the front where, if skilled enough, you can fly over and open a few chests while the others are fighting it on the rooftop and store floor. If you can’t get through the windows, get ready to get inside these offices and open chests as quickly as possible.
The ‘Time of the Season’ clock dam is highly sought after, meaning many players are landing there looking for it. Much of the area below the Dam is empty with little or no chests, and so is the top of the dam. The buildings below Dam’s east also contain very few chests for the number of people entering.
The fire station on the top of the Dam is counted for this challenge. Land on the roof of the fire station and then descend through the terraced hatch. There are usually one or two chests on the roof and more on the inner top floor. Most players land on the bottom where the helicopters are located, so you mostly have to stay on top.
Some players, including YouTuber FaZe Jev, have reported an issue where the Haunted Event challenges seem to have ended but Halloween Grau 5.56 has yet to be unlocked. Unfortunately that means one or more loot items are not found and you have to go back and check each area.
Drop in and complete your final Trick or Treat hunt before it ends.
