Black Eyed Peas’ new music video, for the song “Action”, is dedicated to the pinnacle action scenes in Indian films. The band’s main member, William Adams, also known as will.i.am, shared the music video on Twitter.
He wrote, “Check out our video of #ACTION inspired by # BOLLYWOOD… I’ve always loved Indian music… # Elephunk and #MonkeyBusiness inspired by Indian Culture… thank India for the vitality and your contribution to the world … “
Music Maestro AR Rahman approved the music video and quoted will.i.am’s tweet, “Borders are blurring in art! #tamilcinema @directorshankar #rajnikant #india. ”
The MV is extremely fun and entertaining. It has scenes from movies like Rajinikanth’s Enthiran, Vishal’s Aambala, Ajay Devgn’s Singham, etc.The action scenes are identical to the original, except for the actors’ faces, the members of the Black Eyed Peas will.i.am , apl.de.ap and Taboo have stitched their own faces through deep pseudo technology.
Scenes from the Swedish film Kopps and Maryada Ramanna also appear in the Action music video.
