Finding a giant snake skin can be worrying, especially if the scary snake goes missing.
That’s exactly what happened in a British town when a 7-year-old girl found her skin spasms larger than her body while walking with her grandfather, Southwest News Service (SWNS) reports. Five-legged skin is said to be incomplete, meaning the snake can be much larger.

“I couldn’t believe my eyes when they brought it home,” Debra Drewett, the girl’s grandmother, told SWNS. “It goes from near floor to ceiling. They thought it was just the plastic in the braces under the bridge, but they took a closer look and that is this giant snake skin.
According to the grandmother, no one knew where the snake might have slipped after skinning in her neighborhood of Headington, Oxford.
“I was really nervous and there was an image of a giant snake crawling around someone’s garden,” she explained.

“I can imagine someone would let it go, because a large snake is hard to lose,” she continued. “This isn’t the first time we’ve heard or seen this happen, but we’re watching to see if anyone has lost it. If it is frightened, it will worry, but we cannot imagine it will be harmful. ”
The leather was identified as belonging to the lumbar spasm of a nearby town reptile store.

Colin Stevenson, head of education at the Crocodiles of the World zoo in Oxfordshire, told SWNS, “It won’t eat your cat. You won’t want it to bite you, but it will just give you a nasty wound. Most of these reptiles will not perform too well in the wild in England. Definitely too cold for them to grow unless they can be found somewhere warm or protected. “
