The broadcaster begged Golden Tate to add more passes in his way which could be time consuming.
Tate was absent from training on Wednesday after talking to head coach Joe Judge about his on-field plea for the ball and his wife’s social media posts putting the team on duty. The deal doesn’t throw to Tate more often. He returned to work on Thursday, but more penalties are likely to come.
The judge said Friday that there are different possibilities when it comes to Tate’s role against the Washington Football Team and does not rule out leaving him inactive or capturing him in certain parts of the game.
“There are lots of options that we’ll discuss after practice,” said Judge, through Ryan Dunleavy of New York Post.
Tate did not play in the opener, but has played in another seven of the Giants’ games. He has 22 catches from 226 yards and two touches.
