First iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max pre-orders are now shipping to early buyers. As usual, this doesn’t mean you should pre-order your iPhone 12 any earlier than the November 13 release date.
If you check the status of your order via the Apple website, you can see that your iPhone 12 mini or iPhone 12 Pro Max is still “preparing to ship”. However, if you visit the UPS website, you can track the progress of your order and track when the order arrives in your status.
To do so, subscribe to the UPS My Choice platform or use the “Track by Reference” feature. The reference number can be the phone number listed on your Apple order or your order number doesn’t have the last two digits. However, not all iPhones have been shipped to UPS, so be sure to check throughout the week if you can̵7;t find your iPhone yet.
As usual, Apple doesn’t update shipping of new iPhone orders through its website until the weekend when we get closer to the official release date.
And again, keep in mind that just because orders have been shipped doesn’t mean you should expect your iPhone 12 mini or iPhone 12 Pro Max to arrive soon. Apple works closely with UPS and its other shipping partners to ensure that packages arrive no earlier than Friday, November 13, regardless of the estimated date shown in UPS.
Also remember that, due to environmental concerns, Apple will no longer include headphones or chargers in the iPhone 12 box this year. Here are some accessories you can consider to help fill that void.
