The Detroit Tigers’ JaCoby Jones did not stop running on Monday.
It often happens that a single-player midfielder Adam Engel played the wrong ball. He allowed it to roll under his glove – to the wall.
Meanwhile, Jones went round the diamond for an indoor run in the park to give the Tigers a 5-1 lead at the bottom of the seventh table.
The play is considered a home game, not an error.

Jones’ homer twice is his fifth of the season. The park indoor race is the first for the Tigers since Nick Castellanos on August 22, 2017, against the New York Yankees.
Jones has 12 RBIs and has hit 0.333 in 13 games this season.
