NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) – Tennessee’s National Electronic Disease Surveillance System upgrade later this weekend could affect the daily COVID-19 case reports, usually published daily at 3 p.m. hour ET.
The Tennessee Health Department said it may not be able to provide updated COVID-19 data on Saturday and Sunday due to the upgrade, which will require the system to stop working.
This will not affect test results reports, but there may be a delay of less than 24 hours in case investigation and contact tracking efforts for new cases, according to the health department.
TDH said it will continue to update COVID-19 data at 3 p.m. ET daily once the system upgrade is complete.
