Pittsburgh Steelers was fined a total of $ 350,000 for mask violations in the win over Baltimore Ravens, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Friday.
The team was fined $ 250,000 for not wearing a mask, while coach Mike Tomlin was fined $ 100,000 for not wearing a mask.
Tomlin often wears a neck with the Steelers logo, but sometimes it goes around his neck during his Week 8 win.
The Steelers joined the intensive COVID-19 protocol earlier this week after Ravens defender Marlon Humphrey tested positive after the game. Among other regulations, the Steelers held out of town social team meetings at the indoor facility and were also required to wear masks during training this week.
Since Humphrey̵7;s positive results, Steelers has returned all negative tests.
Steelers (7-0) did not include any of the players on the COVID-19 / reserve list during the regular season, and none of the personnel on the staff had positive results during regular season.
