“They get out of service [Best] helped the capitalist class repel the Black Lives Matter movement at the height of its power, ”wrote Socialist Congresswoman Kshama Sawant, according to Seattle’s KIRO-TV.

“Best also cried at City Council refraining from soaring police salaries to allow funds to be used instead for the needs of the Black and Ebony communities, saying the 7 cut. % of her salary of more than a quarter million ($ 294,000), “feels hatred and punishment,” wrote Sawant.
According to KIRO, before the proposed cuts, Best’s salary was 45% higher than the national average for sheriffs while the city’s top nine police directors were paid more than all 50. the US governor, Sawant said, according to KIRO.
‘Earthquakes in American politics’
