Residents ordered to go to the shelter in Bethlehem Township, Pa., Neighborhood before the incident was resolved (UPDATED)



UPDATE: The incident was “resolved” at 11:37 pm, police said. They thank the residents for their patience.

FIRST POST: Residents in the Winfield Terrace area near Sheridan Drive have been requested by the Bethlehem Township police to remain on site until further notice.

The nixle warning from the town police was issued at 6:41 pm on Sunday, November 8.

The full warning says:

“Police activity on Winfield Terrace in the Sheridan Drive area. Avoid this area until further notice. Residents in the area should shelter in place ”.

Sheriff Daniel Pancoast did not immediately resend the messages on his mobile phone.
