PSA: iOS users are randomly prompted with an iTunes Store error message

Some iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad users are currently reporting that iOS is displaying random error messages related to the iTunes Store. According to some reports on social media, the error message appeared unexpectedly after opening any application installed on the device.

The iTunes Store error only appears on the screen a few times. “The ITunes Store cannot process purchases at this time. Please try again later, ”the message said. Although it mentions the iTunes Store, the issue is affecting users in many third-party apps.

We checked Apple’s System Status website, but it still doesn’t mention any issues with the iTunes Store. At the time of our publication, the only issue Apple confirmed to be the ongoing instability affecting the Apple Books app.

Unfortunately, there is still no workaround for this error message, so if you are getting it on your iPhone or iPad the best you can do now is wait until Apple fixes the problem. .
