Police say a dog dispute has injured eight people in a shooting in downtown Nashville early Sunday morning.
The two men were said to have opened fire at around 1 a.m. on Sunday after “arguing about a dog with one of the men,” Metropolitan Nashville Police said in a statement.
The man with the dog is said to have drawn a gun during the controversy. “The second suspect then left but a few minutes later returned with a gun and several other men with him,” police said.
Eight people were injured in the subsequent shooting, but there were no life-threatening injuries, police said.
Authorities failed to identify any suspects in the dispute and have not released charges stemming from the brawl.
