The song, written by Jackson, marks her first solo release for Republic Records, to which she signed a contract.
“I feel a lot of emotions. I’m excited, I’m worried, mostly grateful and happy,” she said in a statement. “Creative freedom, not being told what to sing and how to sing, what to write; it’s wonderful. It’s a gift, it’s a blessing.”
Jackson, the only daughter of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, previously made music with her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Glenn as part of their band The Soundflowers.
Earlier this year, they released a 5-track EP of the same name, which generated over 1million cumulative live streams.
She had a minor role in 2017 as Rachel Wells in the Fox TV series “Star” and has also appeared in the “Scream” series and in “Gringo.”
In July, she caused controversy with news about her role of Jesus as a lesbian in the indie film “Habit”.
Around that time, she and Glenn launched the documentary, “Unfiltered: Paris Jackson and Gabriel Glenn,” on Facebook about their lives and their bands.
Jackson’s first full-length album, “Wilted,” will be released on November 13.
