If you’re an Android user, here’s the good news – swapping icons for apps you don’t like is pretty easy! Google has actually enabled this functionality for years thanks to third-party launchers, a special kind of app that lets you completely switch your home screen with an app that offers features. and other functions.

One of the most popular features for many third-party launchers is the ability to apply icon packs. These icon packs can get pretty wild, but they’re often designed to change as well all of icons on your device. If that’s the way you want to take it, feel free! From there, you will see a pop-up menu included edit button.

In the menu that appears from there, you can tap on the Gmail icon to exchange it with icons from packages installed on your device. or an image of the logo. To help, we’ve collected icons for Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Google Meet from older versions of the app and implemented circular variations to match the default icon shape of Nova. Alternatively, you can turn off icon masks completely and use transparent icons.

From that, Create a new shortcut with one Write a script work. That action should “Open the program. “In the screenshot below we’ll be using Google Calendar as an example, but you can do this for any icon on your iPhone – Gmail included, of course.
