Right on Halloween, NASA released a list of spooky sounds from space.
NASA explained in a statement: “You may have heard some squeaks, cracks and squeaks in our universe before. “Using data from our spacecraft, we have gathered a NEW collection of sinister sounds from the depths of space in time for Halloween.”
The Halloween playlist, posted to Soundcloud, is filled with bizarre “moans” and “whistles”, the space agency noted.
The creepy sounds include a possible “Marsquake” on the red planet recorded by NASA’s Mars InSight Lander, sounds from the ancient universe, the center of the Milky Way, and the plasma waves from the ionosphere of the Star. Carpentry obtained by the Juno spacecraft.
NASA IMAGES SHARING THE SUN ̵6;HALLOWEEN’
Earlier this week, NASA also highlighted an image of a very spooky sun.
In the remarkable image, the sun bears a striking resemblance to a lantern. In an email to Fox News, NASA compared an image of the sun to a “giant pumpkin floating in space”.
NASA explained in a post on its website October 8, 2014: “The active regions of the sun combined to resemble the face of a lantern on October 8, 2014. “Active regions appear brighter because they are regions that emit more light and energy – markers of a set of complex and intense magnetic fields that are suspended in the sun’s atmosphere. , corona. “
“This image combines two sets of wavelengths at 171 and 193 angstroms, often colored in gold and gold, to create a distinctive Halloween-like look,” the space agency said. know more.
