Meghan Markle will vote in the November presidential election because she knows “what it feels like to feel silent.”
The Duchess of Sussex has revealed what is driving her to the polls in a new interview with Marie Claire.
Markle, 39, says: “I know what it feels like to have a voice, and what it feels like to have no voice. so that we may be heard. And that opportunity, that fundamental right, lies in our ability to exercise our right to vote and make all of our voices heard.
Mother of son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, 1 year old, was born in Los Angeles and can vote in California. Sources said she and Prince Harry secretly bought a house in Santa Barbara.
“One of my favorites, and one that my husband and I often talk about, is that of Kate Sheppard, a leader in the New Zealand suffering movement who said, ̵6;Don’t think your vote doesn’t matter much. Rain that refreshes the arid ground is made up of tiny droplets, Markle added. “That’s why I vote.”
