Ruined King: A League of Legends Story will be available for PC and console in early 2021. The turn-based single-player RPG will mark the debut of the League of Legends franchise on consoles.
A trailer played during the 2020 League of Legends World Championship Final featured the game’s standout characters: Braum, Illaoi, Miss Fortune, Ahri, Pyke, and Yasuo. Although these characters come from different regions and are less related to each other, it seems that they will group together to defeat a new enemy. Judging from the title, we can assume that the heroes will have to go head-to-head with Ruined King, who is unplayable in League of Legends, but there is an item named after him.
Ruins king is the first game made by Riot Forge, the publisher of Riot Games. We took a look at the game last year, but the initial teaser trailer really didn̵7;t reveal too much information about Riot’s new project. Ruins king is being developed by the Airship Syndicate, the creators behind Darksiders Genesis and Battle Chasers: Nightwar.
The game is scheduled to launch for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as on Windows PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Ruined King: A League of Legends Story will also be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, and owners of the PS4 and Xbox One versions will be able to upgrade their copies for free. More info about Ruins king is promised December.
