All Kroger pharmacies are expected to deliver a rapid COVID-19 antibody test by the end of November, officials said Thursday.
Kroger’s pharmacies across the US are preparing to offer rapid COVID antibody testing to customers by the end of November. Officials say the tests are conducted using blood samples. Fingers will cost 25 dollars and usually give results within 15 minutes.
Personally is Not are currently experiencing COVID symptoms, but think they may have been infected with the virus before, eligible to undergo testing at Kroger pharmacies.
“Providing fast antibody testing available across our entire pharmacy will not only provide a convenient and affordable testing solution for individuals who want to know if they have had the whether viral infection causes COVID-19, but also helps clinicians understand – the limited effects of COVID-19 and potential public health strategies to combat the disease “, Colleen Lindholz Kroger Health’s chairman, said in a press release Wednesday.
Antibody testing helps determine if a person has previously been infected with COVID-19, even if they are currently healthy.
Rapid antibody testing is available at several Kroger stores in Michigan and California, officials say. The company also offers diagnostic tests for COVID-19 in the clinic and at home.
