MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – TCF said it is investigating why some debit cards don’t work.
The former Minnesota company joined up with the Detroit-based Chemical Bank over the weekend. Some customers reported on Monday that they could no longer use their card for contactless payments. Others find account balances incorrect and are unable to contact customer service.
Officials apologized and said that the company is working to fix the card issue and expect the balance to be correct by Tuesday morning.
TCF Bank was established in Minneapolis in 1923.
