On Thursday, Infinity Ward tweeted that they were working on a quick fix for one of these Call of Duty: Warzonethe most worrying error.
Recently, players have encountered strange visual flaws. For some reason, picking up or exchanging for certain weapons makes the gun texture different. Polygon jumped out of the gun, creating a mess around it. In some cases, gun motifs wrap around the player, creating a colorful speckled triangular spot. In the more advanced cases, this bug creates a visual box around the player, turning them into an unattractive block type.
This error obviously makes the enemy pretty hard to detect, as in the clip above. This spoils gunfights for some players and makes it more frustrating than usual to win, as you have to fight both opponents and visual bugs.
But the weapon bug also appeared to obstruct the vision of the player using it.
We don̵7;t know how long this bug persisted Battlefield players, although the August 11 patch earlier this week seems to have made it much more frequent.
We’re currently rapidly tracking a fix to address recent graphics crashes that some people might see on weapons and around the map in Warzone. We are targeting to release this fix as soon as possible and will provide more details as they become available.

According to Joe Cecot, co-director of multiplayer design at Infinity Ward, this solution will need its own patch – meaning the studio can’t fix the problem quickly. It’s currently not clear when Infinity Ward will provide a fix or why the bug is occurring in the first place.
We reached out to Infinity Ward for the error and the timing of the fix.
