Five players were suspended and manager Dan Mullen was fined for their actions in Saturday night̵

7;s Florida and Missouri match. The crash occurs when teams enter their dressing room after a break. The brawl erupted after Gators midfielder Kyle Trask was knocked high by Tigers defender Trajan Jeffcoat and quite late after Trask chanted Hail Mary in the final game of the half, and the game had no penalty .

Mullen ran into the courtyard, empty chairs and blows flying in a brawl that lasted for almost two minutes.

Mullen was fined $ 25,000 and publicly reprimanded by the conference for violating SEC sports morale regulations. The fine goes to the SEC Graduate Scholarship Program Foundation.

Florida defensive midfielder Zachary Carter and defender Antwuan Powell were sent off for a fight and had to serve a mandatory half-time suspension this week against Georgia as a result of the penalties. Missouri full-back Chad Bailey, full-back Dylan Spencer and full-back Markell Utsey will also be suspended for half a match for the fight. The tigers will be off this week, so the trio will be suspended on November 13, as is the match against Georgia.

“There is no room in college football for the kind of halftime incident of the Missouri at Florida match on Saturday night,” SEC commissioner Greg Sankey said. “Every participant is responsible for meeting morale standards throughout each match. Run on the field to match the match referee, assemble teams in a match on the field and learn. Student-athletes roll out punches, all of which are disappointing anytime we work to support healthy competition during a pandemic.

Missouri support Tre Williams was also sent off for apparent unsportsmanlike behavior in the incident. He won’t miss the action on November 14 because that penalty is not of a mandatory suspension nature.

No. 8 Florida and No. 5 Georgia will meet at Jacksonville at 3:30 pm ET during the SEC on CBS Game of the Week.
