Wolfgang posted a series of photos of him and guitarist Van Halen on his Instagram.
He is also a family member who confirmed Eddie’s sudden death via an Instagram post uploaded to the platform on October 6.

Wolfgang shared a heartbreaking photo of the father and son on his Instagram since Wolf was just a child days after his death.
For a split second, Eddie is seen hugging his son on the couch, reading him a bedtime story.
Wolf stared at the camera in the photo, boyish haircut, while Eddie kissed his cheek.

The couple are very close, especially since their relationship is more than just family – Wolfgang replaced bassist Michael Anthony in his father’s legendary rock band in 2007, the same year Van Halen was introduced in. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Young Van Halen, along with Eddie’s mother (and ex-wife), Valerie Bertinelli, shared some nostalgic photos after Eddie’s death.

At the end of last month, Wolfgang released false rumors when he confirmed that he would replace Eddie as the lead guitarist at Van Halen.
He took to Twitter to quell the rumors, adding that it ‘not only hurts the fans, but also hurts me and my family.’
