Douglas County reported 4 deaths, 640 new cases, setting a new record



(WOWT) – Below is a summary of the new cases and other COVID-19 statistics reported by health officials across Nebraska & Iowa today.

The Douglas County Department of Health reported 640 new cases on Saturday, another new high for Douglas County. The number of cases reported on Friday was 565.

A total of now 25,942 positive cases. The last time DCHD reported a local positive rate on a COVID-19 console was 21.2% on October 31st.

The total number of deaths today is 246. Those who have just passed away include a woman in her 60s, two women over 70 and a man over 70.

There have been 1

6,189 recoveries reported as of Friday. DCHD was unable to provide updated recovery numbers on Saturday.
