These days, Sony has always kept us. An unexpected play state on Saturday afternoon? Why not? Of course, we’re happy to see this – a good look at Demon’s Souls, one of the PlayStation 5’s top launch titles.
Bluepoint Games’ Gavin Moore speaks to us over a 12-minute video game that starts right from the main menu screen. We get a quick look at the character creator, which looks like a substantial upgrade over the original, before we get into the proper game. It should be noted how fast the game loads from Nexus on one of the levels; just a few seconds and the game changed scenes.
It also continues to look gorgeous and it runs very smoothly in performance mode. Moore says the game makes full use of the PS5̵7;s capabilities, including Tempest 3D sound, haptic feedback, and adaptive triggers.
We’ll let you watch the State of Play for yourself. What do you think of the Devil’s Soul? Did this get you excited to play on launch day? Let us know in the comments below.
