Call of Duty: Warzone is giving in-game rewards to Twitch viewers

We took over a week on Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 and Infinity Ward are bringing a new way for fans to obtain cosmetic items. From August 12 to 19, Battlefield and Modern warfare players can unlock special cosmetics and even a short XP boost, just to watch Twitch streams.

Rewards will be given out based on the amount of time you watch a broadcast streamer Call of Duty: Warzone or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on Twitch.

Here is the list of rewards you can get:

  • Watch 1 hour – “Smoke Up” sticker
  • Watch 2 hours ̵
1; XP Double Weapon tokens for 1 hour
  • 3-hour view – animated call card “Big Bang”
  • Watch 4 hours – Charm “Blast Check”

To unlock these rewards, viewers will have to have a Call of Duty account, which they also need to link to their Twitch account. Even if your Twitch account is previously linked, you may need to re-link that account, so I should probably check before you watch four hours of live streaming with nothing. Most of the game’s biggest streamers like TimTheTatman, NickMercs, and Tfue have the ability to pop any time they’re streaming Warzone or Modern Warfare.

You also need to make sure you’re watching a stream with rewards enabled. You can find out this by looking for the “rewards enabled” caption in the stream’s card. As long as the streamers you’re watching have bounties enabled, it doesn’t matter who you watch or if you switch streams, your total watch time will still count towards your rewards.
