Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians may have had some sleepless nights this week in preparation to face Saints running back to Alvin Kamara on Sunday night.
Arians say that Kamara is an even tougher player to stop the defense than Marshall Faulk, whom Arians coached when Faulk was a rookie in Indianapolis.
“I coached Marshall Faulk, and this guy is more terrifying,” Arians said, through USA Today.
Kamara is currently on track to break Faulk’s yard record by running again for a season. Faulk is a unique backwards player with the ability to beat teams both to run and catch the ball, but Kamara is doing a lot like Faulk. Arians knew the Bucs would be empty-handed on Sunday night.
