Britney Spears says she had a transformative experience – literally – after seeing the movie Big eyes.
The 38-year-old pop star took to Instagram on Saturday (August 8) to feature Tim Burton (“her most beloved director worldwide”) and his 2014 drama. It was about American painter Margaret Keane, with whom her husband credited her famous large-eyed portraits of children in the 1950s and 1960s.
In her post, Spears gave a brief recap of the power-infusion film for the first time, starring Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz, before moving on to the story of the eye-opening shoot. she got there after the screening.
“It’s so weird that the same day I watched this movie, I did a little photo shoot and how big my eyes are !!!”; The singer wrote along with the photo shoot. “I mean … my eyes have never been that big !!! It’s really pretty crazy and they weren’t altered at all … maybe coincidental ???”
Spears added that she learned an important lesson from the whole experience.
“If the power of what you see and hear can have a lot to do with your life … I mean stay away from bad people and raise your awareness of high-energy people! !! ” she continued. “That’s what I learned from this … and watch Big Eyes while you’re there !!!”
