No. 1 Clemson has announced a list of players expected to be absent for the midday match against Boston College (ABC) on Saturday.
It is clear that the title group is starting midfield and midfielder Heisman Trevor Lawrencewho was reported to have been out earlier on Thursday after tested positive for COVID-19. Clemson coach Dabo Swinney told ESPN’s Holly Rowe on College GameDay they don’t have any more active COVID-19s and Lawrence is doing well. He declined to speculate on Lawrence’s recovery time for the game with No.4 Notre Dame next Saturday (7:30 pm / NBC).
Injury is also a factor this week, especially in defense, when starting at center-back James Skalski, tackles defense Tyler Davis, linebacker Mike Jones Jr. and reserve the corner kick Fred Davis I-I’m over.
The reserve to run back to Chez Mellusi, who had already started making a lot of representatives for the third team, was also gone.
Clemson’s unavailable roster doesn’t give a reason why a player was out of the game, with some listed being considered absent for the season.
