While the calendar says Black Friday is officially three weeks away, the price tag on Amazon’s Fire tablet says Black Friday is happening right now. Both Amazon anddropped the price on the Fire tablet back to its lowest Prime Day level from last month. The discount will take place for at least Sunday, 8 November. The best deals are as follows:
- Fire HD 10 (10-inch tablet) drops to $ 80 ($ 70 off, back to the lowest price we’ve seen)
- Fire HD 8 (8-inch tablet) is $ 55 ($ 35 off)
- Fire HD 8 Plus is $ 75 ($ 35 off)
- Fire HD 8 Kids Edition is $ 80 ($ 60 off)
- Fire 7 Kids version is $ 60 ($ 40 off)
Note that the Fire Kids Editions include one case and one year, worth $ 36.

Amazon has come a long way since the first Kindle Fire tablet. The Amazon Fire HD 10 is Amazon’s largest tablet with a 10-inch screen size and powerful speakers (and it currently charges via USB-C). Just like its smaller 8-inch sibling, the Fire HD 8, this tablet has many benefits for Prime subscribers, making it easy for members to stream and download movies, TV shows, and games. The Fire tablet does not use a pure Android version but instead is Amazon’s Android-based Fire operating system and downloads apps from the Amazon App Store. Fire HD 8 was updated earlier this year with a faster processor, USB-C charging, better Wi-Fi performance, 2GB RAM (up from 1.5GB) and increased storage in the base version. from 16GB to 32GB. Its HD display is sharper than the entry-level Fire 7, but it’s not as sharp as the iPad display. Even so, it’s a good deal at $ 90 and a great deal at $ 55.

This kid-friendly version of the Fire HD 8 tablet adds a padded carrying case, parental controls, a two-year warranty and a one-year subscription to Kids Plus (formerly known as FreeTime Unlimited) It usually costs $ 3 a month and gives you access to lots of kid-friendly content. It’s not really suitable for distance learning, but it’s a much more affordable option than giving your kids a full-on iPad.
This has all the same extras as the HD 8 above, but it’s the kids version of the Amazon Fire 7. Smaller, more affordable. You’ll get a 7-inch display instead of an 8, and a less powerful processor.
