Animal Crossing: New Horizons is currently Japan’s second best selling game

Ever since Nintendo announced its latest financial results, we’ve heard great number of about Animals crossing: New horizon sell. It has sold more than 22 million copies worldwide, which means it has sold more copies than the entire Metroid franchise.

If this is not enough evidence on how big Nintendo’s sim life line has become over the years, the Game Data Library has handled some numbers – revealing the most recent entry is now the second best-selling video game never within Japan.

0,230,000 units (remember you, that’s the combined total of Red, Green, and Blue). Technically, this means Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the best-selling single SKU in Japan – far ahead of the original. Super Mario Bros. game for four months.
