Among us is a new update, and although it is quite small, the patch notes highlight some of the major additions that will be available in future patches. The latest Steam update promises some big changes, including ongoing accounts that will make matchmaking easier.
The latest update includes some bug fixes and anonymous voting options, but the really big changes have yet to be a success. When the account arrives in the game in December, players will be able to better track their progress and eventually, create a list of friends. Developer Innersloth says that initially the system will be “slightly simpler”;, but will improve with direction.
More interesting is the promise of a new map on the horizon. According to the Steam update, it’s “under Henry Stickmin themed”, and it’s going to be bigger than Polus. The map will be completely free and will have different quests for players to complete. No more info yet, but it’s good to know it will come.
Additional translations and localizations are also underway, as well as color blindness support. This current patch has a “first pass-through” for colorblind support, but more work is underway.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently went live Between us with some friends – it’s a pretty cool thing that happened.
