An 18order San Luis Obispo County resident died after testing positive for COVID-19.
The County Public Health Department on Thursday said the person is in her 90s and “vulnerable to serious illness” due to a chronic health condition.
As of Thursday, 24 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in San Luis Obispo County, bringing the county’s total since the pandemic started to 2,324.
1,950 people are reported to have recovered. Another 336 people are said to be recovering at home, 20 are hospitalized with four in the ICU.
The County reported 45,285 tests that were conducted in county and private laboratories.
The COVID-19 trials are currently available to the public at Grover Beach, San Luis Obispo and Atascadero.
The experimental clinic in Atascadero will be open through August 20.
