Natural sleep tracking has finally arrived

The wait is over. Apple Watch users will eventually be able to put their watch to bed and track their sleep without having to download a third-party app. WatchOS 7 also helps users to go to bed on time by providing a way relaxation from day to gentle bedtime routine. Once in bed, Apple Watch uses the motion and heart rate sensors to determine when you go to bed and turn off all notifications. In the morning, you can look back at your sleep cycle to see if you wake up in the middle of the night and see your progress over time.

To track sleep, the Apple Watch needs to charge at least 30%, and it will need to recharge when you wake up. Once your Apple Watch is fully charged, you’ll get a notification on your phone that it’s ready to go.

WatchOS 7 helps you be honest about hand washing

You know, we’re living through some interesting times when hand washing is getting almost airtime like sleep tracking during speech. Apple Watch will use the motion sensor and microphone to find out when you’re washing your hands and make sure you’re doing it right. When it is determined that you are at the sink, it will start a 20-second countdown, which is the optimal duration based on CDC guidelines. It can even remind you to do it as soon as you step inside the house.

Other health features

WatchOS 7 is taking the Noise app a step further by extending noise alerts to headphones level. The Apple Watch monitors the ambient noise and warns the user when it reaches levels that can affect hearing loss. But now it works similarly when you are listening to audio through the headphones from your iPhone, iPod or Apple Watch. You will receive an alert if you have exceeded the recommended listening time or volume set by the World Health Organization.

There’s also a new health indicator that can help users understand their motor and cardiovascular abilities. Old age or injury can affect a person’s balance and overall ability to move safely and efficiently. The Apple Watch uses its motion sensors (as well as the motion sensors on the iPhone) to get an image of how it will look over time, similar to the “6 minute walk test” you take. usually received in the laboratory. If this data is shared with your doctor, it may help detect movement problems before they reach your health level.

Share and discover new watch faces

Apple still does not allow Third party watch facesBut there will be more ways to personalize your Apple Watch by customizing existing templates or adding multiple complications from the same application. Watch wearers can also share watch faces with each other via text, email, or social media, or explore other looks managed by specific companies.

The Apple Watch also gets a new Chronograph Pro option, has an analog tachometer that measures speed and distance, and has a huge text option and a new photo filter. And you will be able to add new features for camera, remote control, and sleep mode Shortcuts application.

The car key feature turns your watch into an important key

With updates, your Apple Watch can become an important key to your car. You won’t be able to grant permissions to car keys like on an iPhone, but you’ll be able to accept them if they’re shared with you through the Wallet app. The car key feature will only be available on Apple Watch Series 5 and up (assuming we get it Line 6 in fall), and will only be compatible with select BMW models now.
